Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leatherâ„¢ liquid is a safe product to use on breathable waterproof smooth leather footwear. It provides Durable Water Repellency (DWR), maintains breathability and replenishes tanning agents. Additionally, Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leatherâ„¢ liquid in black/brown restores colour.
Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leatherâ„¢ liquid is non-flammable, contains no harmful solvents and is free of harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and fluorocarbons. The Water-based formulation is directed to leaks, can be used on wet leather and will not over-soften.
For best results clean footwear using Nikwax® Footwear Cleaning Gel™.
- Shake well before use.
- Rub the wax thoroughly into wet or dry clean leather, using the sponge applicator, paying special attention to seams.
- Remove any excess with a cloth and buff to a shine.
Note: Test on a hidden area first. Waterproofing Wax for Leatherâ„¢ will convert nubuck to a smooth waxy finish.
